It can be explained simply that an embedded pc works as follows: In this device there is a type of memory that is used to store a program. Usually, each program, applied to a specific home appliance in the pc, is different and is based on the type of the appliance. For example, the pc which is embedded in a washing machine is designed to make the machine function as something you can use to clean your clothes. Another thing that you have to know about an embedded pc is that the number that are embedded in one home appliance will be different from the number embedded in another home appliance. It also means that it is very possible for a home appliance to have more than one pc embedded into it. This kind of appliance would require one for each function the machine needs to run based on the consumer’s selection. (i.e. short wash cycle, long wash cycle, rinse cycle etc.)
Nowadays, this kind of pc can be found quite easily. Even so, it seems that it is sold more to home appliances manufacturers and other manufacturers who have the same use for it. In other words, it can be said that this pc is mostly intended to be bought not by individuals, but by large scale industries. Because of this, it is very reasonable for this pc to be placed in the list of products to view by a lot of manufacturers, especially the ones who create home appliances to be sold to the public, making their daily chores faster and easier!
